Who We Are

A Decade of Weaving,
Thread by Thread.

DFR Technical Textiles has manufactured engineered woven filtration media and precision filter made-ups at GIDC Chhatral, in Gujarat's industrial belt near Ahmedabad, since 2016.

We built the business around a single conviction: filtration performance is engineered, not assumed — chosen at the polymer, set at the loom, proved in the laboratory — and it can only be guaranteed if the same company controls every stage of production.

That is why our plant runs from inward yarn through warping, weaving, finishing, inspection, cutting, stitching and eyelet punching without a single subcontracted step. Brand-new German Dornier rapier looms weave the cloth. An in-house laboratory tests it against published ASTM and EN methods. Our Filter Fabrication Centre turns it into the finished made-up.

Some of what we weave leaves the plant that way, ready for the press. Some leaves as fabric on the roll, for partners who fabricate or stock it themselves. Both carry the same quality record.

Behind it sits 35+ years of combined industry experience — people who have specified, sold and troubleshot filter media in chemical, pharmaceutical, mineral and effluent plants long enough to know which questions actually matter.

How We Work

01

We engineer to the duty, not the catalogue

Before we quote, we ask about the slurry, the cake, the chemistry, the temperature and the cycle. A cloth that suits an iron ore concentrate has no business in a pharmaceutical centrifuge, and we would rather say so than sell it.

02

We keep every step in-house

Yarn, warp, weave, finish, inspect, cut, stitch, punch, pack. One roof, one quality record, one company answerable for the result — which is what makes traceability meaningful rather than a claim on a brochure.

03

We measure against published standards

Air permeability, GSM, thickness, tensile strength, pore opening and antistatic behaviour are tested to ASTM and EN methods on calibrated instruments. Numbers you can compare, not adjectives you have to trust.

04

We answer quickly, and we deliver quickly

Most filtration fabrics are held ex-stock and dispatched the same day. Custom made-ups move through an integrated schedule rather than a subcontractor's queue — which is where lead time usually goes missing.
