Engineered Media. Finished Solutions.
DFR manufactures the fabric and the finished filter. Woven media is engineered to your process, then cut, stitched, punched and finished in the same plant — so the specification you approve is the specification that reaches your press.
Four Product Lines
01 · Fabrics
Woven Filtration Fabrics
The engineered base of everything we make. Polymer, yarn construction, weave architecture and surface finish are selected together so the fabric matches your slurry, cake and cycle — not a generic catalogue number.
- Polypropylene, polyester and nylon as standard; PPS, PEEK, PTFE and PVDF on request
- Monofilament, multifilament, staple and hybrid yarn constructions
- Plain, twill, sateen, broken twill, oxford and custom-engineered weaves
- Singeing, heat setting and calendering finishes
02 · Filter Press
Filter Press Cloths
Precision engineered for leak-proof performance, excellent cake release and longer life across every type of filter press application — built around your plate, not adapted to it.
- Recessed chamber, membrane, plate & frame, CGR, automatic and manual presses
- Feed neck, leakage control, fixing and reinforcement options
- Backer cloths to extend main cloth service life
- 10″ × 10″ up to 2.5 m × 2.5 m and every size in between
03 · Made-Ups
Filtration Made-Ups
A comprehensive range of precision manufactured made-ups produced in our Filter Fabrication Centre on laser, thermal cutting, PLC-controlled stitching and automatic eyelet systems.
- Centrifuge bags and agitated nutsche filter bags
- Sparkler filter pads and dust collector bags
- Rotary drum filter cloths and fluid bed dryer bags
- Standard OEM made-ups available ex-stock
04 · Antistatic
Antistatic Filtration Solutions
Conductive or dissipative yarns inserted into the fabric structure at defined intervals to control static build-up, improve safety and ensure reliable performance in critical applications.
- Stainless steel blend — conductive, EN 1149-1, requires earthing
- Carbon blend — dissipative, EN 1149-3, no earthing required
- 5 mm, 10 mm and 25 mm spacing; weft, warp or both directions
- PP or PET base fabric; ready and custom-designed solutions
Four Decisions Behind
Every DFR Fabric.
Filtration performance is engineered through the selection of polymer, yarn construction, weave structure and surface finishing. Every element impacts how a fabric performs in your process.
Polymer
Chemical resistance, mechanical strength and continuous operating temperature — 90 °C for PP, 150 °C for PET, 120 °C for PA.
Yarn Construction
Trades particle retention against flow rate, cake release and cleanability. Hybrids combine the strengths of two constructions.
Weave Architecture
Controls porosity, strength, flexibility and surface character — and how resistant the cloth is to blinding over a long campaign.
Surface Finish
Singeing, heat setting, calendering and antistatic integration tune permeability, dimensional stability and cake discharge.
Precision Made-Ups.
Perfect Performance.
Our advanced Filter Fabrication Centre is equipped with state-of-the-art cutting, stitching and finishing systems to manufacture high-precision filter made-ups that ensure leak-proof performance and longer service life.
Laser Cutting
DWG-based cutting, sealed edges, tight tolerances.
Thermal Cutting
HSGM hot air and impulse cutters, edges sealed instantly.
Automatic Stitching
JUKI PLC-controlled machines, programmable patterns.
Eyelet Punching
Fepatex automatic punching for uniform placement.
Not sure which construction fits?
Send us your current cloth specification, or simply describe the slurry, cake and cycle. We will recommend a polymer, yarn and weave combination and quote against it.
